Here’s where and how you can take a minute to grab some food safely at the 2021 Sweets & Snacks Expo:
We know how busy you will be when you arrive in Indianapolis, reconnecting with colleagues in the industry, making new connections, and sharing new and innovative products. But you probably haven’t thought about where you can grab lunch or chat with your team over dinner. Along with being this year’s home to the 2021 Sweets & Snacks Expo – Indy has plenty of attractions and great dining options.
Across the city, restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues are taking part in the Hoosier Hospitality Promise, which certifies each venue is taking all necessary steps to protect employees, customers and visitors to the city. Indianapolis has been hosting events throughout the pandemic with great success, and we are confident you will enjoy exploring the city and making new connections at this year’s show. If you’re unsure about eating indoors, here is a list of restaurants with outdoor seating or carry out that you can sort by a number of different factors.
For many of us, the day doesn’t stop once we leave the show floor. Typically, receptions and large-scale get-togethers are a hallmark of the Expo. This year, we recommend against holding larger receptions that would require attendees to remove their masks or discourage social distancing. We will have designated areas where you can set up meetings with a small group to connect, and we recommend discussing people’s comfort level as it relates to meetings outside of the Sweets & Snacks Expo. Rather than large indoor customer dinners, consider smaller gatherings at outdoor venues.
