Can I register for media credentials on site at the show?
Yes, media can register at the media center located in room 140-141 located on level one.
How do I register as media for Sweets & Snacks Expo?
The Sweets & Snacks Expo is a private trade show that admits only media who qualify for credentials. The National Confectioners Association (NCA) reserves the right to deny any applicant credentials. All qualified Sweets & Snacks Expo media must meet the Media Proof of Eligibility requirements for their badge type.
Can I attend Sweets & Snacks Expo if I'm a print or video blogger or other digital media person?
NCA welcomes digital media to Sweets & Snacks Expo. However, digital media applicants must meet certain guidelines that demonstrate they are posting regular, quality content about the sweets and snacks industry. NCA will determine the qualifying frequency and quality of the posts. See Media Proof of Eligibility.
What if I am in public relations, marketing or advertising?
Media badges are for “working media” who are covering the show for a recognized media outlet. Individuals in public relations, marketing or advertising must register for an attendee badge.
Are unique email addresses required for every registrant?
Sweets & Snacks Expo requires individual unique email addresses for attendees, exhibiting personnel and media. This allows each Sweets & Snacks Expo badge holder to utilize and customize the online show planner and the show's mobile app and receive timely Sweets & Snacks communications. The use of unique email addresses also will help us to identify non-qualified attendees.
How will I receive my media badge?
All media who have been approved for credentials will be able to pick up their credentials at the media center located in room 140-141 on level 1. They can also pick up at any of the scan and go locations throughout the convention center.
Can a friend or colleague pick up my media badge for me?
A photo ID is required to pick up your media badge. You are not allowed to pick up credentials for colleagues.
What are the dates of the show?
Sweets & Snacks Expo will run Wednesday, June 23rd – Friday, June 25th. We will also be hosting the first annual Supplier Showcase event on Tuesday, June 22nd and encourage all media to attend that as well.

The Sweets & Snacks floor hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm June 23 -24 and 9:00am – 3:00pm June 25th. Supplier Showcase will be 10:00 am – 4:00 pm June 22nd.
What services and amenities are available in the Sweets & Snacks Press Room?
Sweets & Snacks Expo and the National Confectioners Association, the show's owner, provide a full-service press room with a working press area and press materials.
Where do I find information geared toward media such as exhibitor news releases and a press conference schedule?
Visit the show’s Online Newsroom for media-related information, including story ideas, links to news releases, infographics, a press conference schedule and much more.
Where do I find maps?
Maps for the Sweet & Snacks Expo will be available in the press room. We also encourage you to download the Sweets & Snacks Expo Show App.
Who staffs the Press Room?
The Communications Team from the National Confectioners Association, owner of the show, staffs the press room and can assist you with show information and story ideas.
Onsite Information
I have not registered for Sweets & Snacks Expo. Can I still do so?
You can still register at www.sweetsandsnacksexpo.com/register by clicking to the registration page and selecting the “Media” button. You can also register onsite on Level 2 in the Sagamore Ballroom. You must meet the media qualifications to attend.
I am still pending. What do I do?
If you are still pending, we ask that you upload your qualification documentation to your dashboard. If you are unable to do so, please bring your qualification documents onsite to be reviewed.
I do not know what my status is.

Where can I pick up my badge onsite?
If you are approved and received a barcode, you can pick up your badge at any location. If your application is pending or you need to register, you must go to the Media Center in Room 140 on Level 1.
