The Sweets & Snacks Expo is excited to announce Sweets & Snacks On Demand, a new digital platform designed to bring together the Sweets & Snacks community – from any location and at any time. The newest innovations in confectionery and snacks were today recognized at the 2019 Sweets & Snacks Expo’s annual Most Innovative New Product Awards. A panel of judges representing retail leaders in the confectionery and snack category evaluated products in nine categories: chocolate, non-chocolate, sweet, salty, savory, novelty, seasonal, gourmet/premium, and gum & mints.

Packaging manufacturer Cascades was honored with the Ruby Award for Supplier Innovation for its next-gen Northbox packaging, the first-ever fully recyclable insulated packaging in North America. The packaging is itself made of recycled materials and provides multiple insulation options for various shipping needs.
